The 2023 State of the County will be held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on Thursday, November 2. Event cost is $50. Free Livestream will be available at https://stateofthecounty.ventura.org and on the County of Ventura’s Facebook page.

The State of the County 2023 program and reception features special performances from local musicians and artists, including:
Ventura-based jazz vocalist, songwriter, and author, Toni Jannotta has produced four albums. Ms. Jonnatta created the “Voices of the Homeless” project and documentary, which paired stories from the unhoused with musical backing from improv jazz musicians. Tonight, she is joined by Dave Smith on guitar and Ryan Roberts on the upright bass.
The CLU Kingsmen and Regals Quartets showcase some of the university’s most talented student musicians and scholars, playing a variety of classical, romantic, and contemporary works. The Kingsmen Quartet includes Nicholas Desmond, Nathaniel
Mark, Lucas Sprague, and Cameron Tucker. The Regals Quartet includes Mackenzie Zaun, Danielle Pickard, Nairi Semerdjian, and Sydney Steinberg.
Mr. O’Brien is a local of Simi Valley and one of the most popular performers at the World-Famous Magic Castle in Hollywood.
Julianne Sillona is a Filipino American singer-songwriter and award-winning vocalist. She has performed across the US, Canada, and the Philippines. She is now in her final year at the CalArts School of Music for Jazz Vocals and is accompanied by Keelan Walters, Alex Grant, and Benny Shultz.
